A year has passed since the great fire on mount Carmel where 44 people lost their lives. A monument in their memory was inaugurated last week, symbolizing the deadly road curve where a bus with 39 cadets where caught in the inferno and firefighters and police officers were trying to rescue them. Both the cadets and the rescuers found their death in this tragedy. We'll remember them forever.
